Full Description: Woodstock is a thriving market town just to the north of Oxford which grew as a coach stop on the road north. Built around a Royal Hunting Lodge, the area surrounding the town became the site of Blenheim Palace, home of the Dukes of Marlborough since the early 1700s and more recently associated with being the home of Sir Winston Churchill.
