Full Description: The Wychwood Forest :
At Domesday in 1086, the royal forest of Wychwood covered much of what is now West Oxfordshire, England.


The Wychwood Way :
A new 37 mile circular trail following waymarked rights of way around the ancient Royal Forest of Wychwood. The route starts and finishes at Woodstock, and connects Chipping Norton, Charlbury, Chadlington, Ascott-under-Wychwood, Leafield, Ramsden, North Leigh, Combe and Stonesfield.
