Accommodation details

Welcome to The Talbot Inn in Cirencester in the heart of the Cotswolds. The Talbot is a lot of different pubs all in one - large but cosy, quirky but comfortable, grand on the outside but homely on the inside.

The accommodation is situated in the north wing in a converted stable block, fronted by a flower filled courtyard. There are five courtyard en-suite letting rooms. Our two bedroomed apartment is available on a b&b (bed and breakfast) or self catering basis. We now have complimentary wi-fi broadband internet connection in all rooms and also in both bars.

The bar is at the centre of the building and most visitors head for the plush split-level Paddock bar with its beams and arches, where old church pews make up part of the seating.

Diners are well catered for to the point of being spoiled by the wide selection of home-cooked food, which is available in the Paddock bar or al fresco on the Stable bar patio. It's a lovely place to sit and enjoy your meal or drink. All our meat is sourced locally from Jesse Smith and W.J. Castle, traditional family butchers of Cirencester and Burford. We serve a selection of Arkells real ales, continental lagers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

Lunch is served from 12pm until 2pm daily. Evening meals from 6pm to 8:45pm

Ever since Arkell's bought the pub back in 1877, The Talbot has prided itself on its genuinely warm welcome and it's popularity with local people for whom the pub is at the centre of the community.
