Surrounded by over 60 acres of beautiful grounds beside the banks of the River Windrush, The Old Swan and Minster Mill is a beautiful Cotswold inn and hotel with luxury accommodation.

The accommodation at the Old Swan Inn is both traditional and luxurious.  All 16 bedrooms are well thought out and offer modern conveniences such as complimentary wi-fi internet access, DDI telephones and flat screen TVs. Luxury fabrics, fine linens, comfort and restrained good taste are watch-words here. Modern bathrooms add to the overall relaxed and comfortable air.

The Minster Mill has 40 modern bedrooms, designed in a 'country-contemporary' style. All are comfortably furnished with chic fabrics and quality fittings and all have ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms at the Minster Mill are more modest in size and price than those at the Old Swan but none are lacking in facilities and comfort and all have good views of the gardens. Several rooms sit right next to the Mill Race and have their own private terraces leading directly to the gardens. A limited number of dog friendly rooms are available at The Minster Mill.

Dining at The Old Swan and Minster Mill.
Expect superb fresh local ingredients crafted into hearty dishes served with gusto and panache.  The Old Swan’s dining rooms and bar are a myriad of attractive, beamed rooms with rugged Cotswold stone floors and roaring log fires in the colder months. An open 'Big Dining Room' is also available seating up to sixty guests privately. In the summer months you can dine outdoors, surrounded by the Swan's picturesque gardens.

Gastro-pub dining, country-cosy rooms and over 65 acres of private gardens and wild-flower meadows with paths designed for your dog to explore.

Chien Bleu in conjunction with the Old Swan & Minster Mill are organising an action packed weekend of great British hospitality. Arrive on Friday afternoon and after settling into your accommodation, take a stroll in the gardens or perhaps take tea in one of the newly restored snugs.

At the welcome drinks, we’ll explain the plan and route for Saturday’s hike as well as a chance for everyone to meet. There will be individual tables for dinner.

Waggy Tails, the professional dog photographers will be available throughout for individual photography sessions throughout the weekend.

On Saturday, after a relaxed breakfast, the group will depart for a guided hike to Swinbrook along the River Windrush. The walk will take about 2 1/2 hours through stunning countryside following the path of the Windrush, arriving for lunch at the Swan at Swinbrook

The circular walk back will take about 2 hours arriving in good time for tea.

That evening the party will enjoy drinks together followed by a private dinner in the Lovell Dining Room with our guest speaker. At 10.30pm, those looking for more fun can enjoy the short torch-lit walk to Minster Lovell Hall ruins with our local historian.

On Sunday morning, enjoy a hearty breakfast before you depart. This wishing to stay on for a traditional Sunday lunch (booking essential) may enjoy late check-out to 4pm.
