This delightfully welcoming holiday property offers cosy accommodation including three bedrooms, a bathroom with an attractive roll top bath, two sitting rooms with open fires, original wooden floors, and a dining room that overlooks the River Severn. The garden is situated right on the riverbank, and is a wonderful spot in which to relax with a drink after a day spent sightseeing. Gloucester Docks is a short distance from The Lock House, and offers some lively attractions including award winning museums, restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, and traditional shipbuilding. Gloucester’s many attractions, parks, stunning countryside and honey coloured Cotswold villages are all within easy reach of this wonderful holiday property.

Note: Due to close proximity of deep open water at front and rear, children must be very closely supervised at all times and care should be taken with dogs. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'LOW', 'MID', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Interesting mid 19th century cottage, bags of history and fascinating location, canalside. Close to good shopping (Gloucester Quays), pubs and restaurants. Close to Forest of Dean and Cotswalds. Very helpful owners and cleaner.

,Very interesting location with easy access to the town centre, countryside and historic docks. We were able to see the Severn bore by taking a 15 minute walk across the open land behind the property.
