The Five Alls at Filkins near Burford

Introduction

The Five Alls at Filkins is a beautiful Cotswolds pub and restaurant with rooms. Located just off the A361, halfway between Burford and Lechlade in Oxfordshire and on the border with Gloucestershire. It makes a perfect base from which to explore the many and varied attractions of the Cotswolds including picturesque villages, gardens, historic buildings, walks, cycling, fishing, golf, horse racing at Cheltenham, horse riding and many cottage industries.

The Five Alls is in a charming and quiet village setting and built of mellow Cotswold stone. The interior has been  recently refurbished, retaining many original features including exposed Cotswold stone walls, flagstone floors, an open fire, and an exposed timber  ceiling. The Five Alls offers high quality dining and accommodation in a traditional country pub setting. Wi-fi internet access is available.

The village of Filkins is home to the Cotswold Woollen Weavers Mill and Museum  and is also very close to the Cotswold Wildlife Park and Gardens.

Dining at The Five Alls. Duncan Ray is the Head Chef-Proprietor. He has spent most of his career working in Michelin Star restaurants in England and France and now creates a superb dining experience at The Five Alls.

BAR - Tuesday to Saturday 12 - 11 pm Sunday and Monday 12 -10 pm
LUNCH - Tuesday to Friday 12-2.30 pm Saturday 12 - 3 pm
DINNER - Tuesday to Saturday 6.30 pm - 9.30 pm
SUNDAY LUNCH 12 - 4 pm

The restaurant will be closed for dinner on Sundays and for lunch and dinner on Mondays.

Accommodation at The Five Alls.

We have four letting rooms, recently renovated and each individually decorated and all of which have en-suite facilities. 

You will sleep on hand finished Hypnos mattresses with luxurious 200 count Egyptian cotton bedding to ensure a good night’s sleep. We can supply hypo-allergenic quilts if required and our pillows are all memory foam for added comfort.
 
We have a Super King Size bed in our beautifully decorated monochrome Kencott Room which is stunning in black and silver.
 
A King Size bed occupies our quirky shabby chic Broadwell Room. This room has a cosy feel but is not suitable for anyone over 6 ft with its sloping ceilings, an added bonus of sleeping in an 18th century coaching inn! 
 
The Filkins Room is our largest bedroom with plum décor and another Super King Size bed.
 
Our final bedroom is the Langford Room which has a King Size bed. It is tastefully decorated in calming duck egg blue colours.
