Since 1997 the Battle Proms Concerts have been spellbinding audiences in their thousands with their distinctive series of summer picnic concerts and have become, for many groups of friends, the musical event of the year.
We invite you to join us in summer 2012 for the ultimate proms in the park: an exceptional celebration of soul-stirring classical music with breathtaking displays, hampers, champers, and an electric atmosphere with flag waving and singing under the stars!
Diamond Jubilee Gun Salute. The gunners of the English Field Artillery Company herald the commencement of the evening’s musical programme with a volley of shots from an authentic vintage field gun in honour of the Diamond Jubilee of HM Queen Elizabeth II.
The 2012 Battle Proms at Blenheim Palace will be held on the 14th July 2012 on Great Park, an impressive elevated position on the estate adjacent to the Grand Avenue and the Column of Victory, and affording wonderful views of the Spitfire display.
