Our unique combination of facilities, the elegant impressive Tithe Barn, our fabulous food and cookery school, our five luxury cottages and the award-winning restaurant in our village pub, gives you the opportunity to create a truly different and entirely bespoke event, whether it lasts for just one night or extends over several days.

WEDDINGS: The Tithe Barn at Southrop Manor is a particularly distinctive choice for an intimate wedding party. Located in the heart of the tiny Cotswold village of Southrop, the Tithe Barn's exceptionally beautiful location, adjacent to the old Manor house and the Saxon church, and overlooking the rolling, lush Gloucestershire countryside, could not be more romantic.  

The Tithe Barn's huge open plan space hosts wedding breakfasts, lunches and dinners, as well as a Champagne reception, and the ceremony itself, in the Balcony Room.  For a seated wedding banquet, we can take 60 to 80 people, with plenty of room for pre-banquet drinks as well as dancing.  For a standing drinks and canape reception, we can take up to 100 people.

We are licenced for wedding ceremonies, so your whole day can begin, and end at Thyme.  Our five cottages can accommodate up to 18 guests (plus 2 children) and are perfectly placed to host the main wedding party before and after the wedding.  From late 2012, the Manor Farm House will be able to accommodate a further 16 people, in 8 double bedrooms.

The majestic drama of our award-winning Tithe Barn, effortlessly combining country chic with the latest AV facilities, is an inspiring venue for lunches and dinners up to 80 people and drinks receptions for up to 100. BESPOKE COOKING DAYS.
As a uniquely different way of entertaining, we work with you to create a special package of unusual events to mark any occasion. We particularly focus on bespoke cooking days for up to 24 people, using our state-of-the-art teaching kitchens, possibly combined with hunting or fishing in the surrounding countryside.  A celebratory lunch or dinner can take place afterwards in The Tithe Barn. TEAM BUILDING. Use our cookery school for a team-building activity your team will never forget.  Time in our kitchens is sociable, collaborative and fun - learn new skills, cook and taste with our chefs or prepare a feast you can all enjoy and dine on together.
