Lakeside Cottage is located in the pretty hamlet of Fossebridge, where the Fosse Way drops into the valley of the River Coln, an area of outstanding natural beauty.  It is only 6 miles north of Cirencester on the A429.  Delightful walks are to be discovered from here up to Yanworth and The National Trust’s Chedworth Roman Villa. Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Cheltenham are within half an hour’s drive.  Warwick Castle, Oxford, Stratford upon Avon and Bath are also easy day trips.
 
The Cottage is a well positioned property with access to the bar and restaurant situated within the 4 acre grounds of the family run Inn at Fossebridge, an historic 17^th Century Coaching Inn.

Excellent traditional food, local ales and fine wines are served daily.  We offer a daily lunch menu from 12 noon to 2.30 pm and a la carte dining in the evening from 6.00 pm – 9.30 pm.  Every Sunday we offer a Traditional Sunday Roast Menu from 12.00 noon – 3.30 pm.   Advanced reservations are recommended.  Two Garden Rooms within the hotel are also available for private use with no room hire charge, should you require additional entertaining space for a special celebration.  Please contact us for further details and menu options.  Cottage guests can also pre-book a Farm Fresh Cooked Breakfast in the hotel dining room at a cost of £13.50 per person, served daily from 8.30 am – 10.00 am.
   
The newly decorated accommodation in the cottage is very spacious; comfortably sleeping 10 guests in two King bedrooms, one Twin bedroom and a dormitory room with four single beds. A Z bed is also available for an additional nightly charge of £35.00.  There is a large traditional sitting room with a log-burning stove. It is tastefully furnished with armchairs, occasional chairs and two sofas. A state of the art Bang Olufsen Television with Sky & DVD player are installed. Adjacent, on the ground floor is the master King bedroom and a newly installed en-suite bathroom, with shower cubicle, bath, twin vanity unit and a W.C.
 
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, including a Miele dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, microwave, large freestanding fridge-freezer and a gas hob with electric fan oven. The Dining Room is adjacent with a large farmhouse table and ten dining chairs.
 
Also on the ground floor is the Twin bedroom with a wash basin. Upstairs is another double bedroom with a King bed and a wash basin. Adjacent is the fourth bedroom with four single beds. On the same floor is a family bathroom with a bath, shower over the bath, W.C. and a wash basin.
 
The Cottage has a private entrance, two driveways with parking for 5 cars and an enclosed front garden with attractive views across the lake and gardens of the Inn.

Children and well-behaved dogs are most welcome.

Lakeside Cottage Tariffs for 2011.

• A 2 night stay costs 75% of the weekly rate.
• A 3 night stay costs 80% of the weekly rate.
• A 4 night stay costs 90% of the weekly rate.
• All stays of 5 nights and over are charged at the full weekly rate.

All costs include: electricity, water, linen, towels, kitchen & bathroom essentials, one basket of logs, one box of kindling & a bag of coal; (winter months only).  Additional supplies of logs & coal may be purchased directly from the hotel reception
 
PLEASE NOTE: Any week or short stay which includes a Bank Holiday is charged at the High Season Rate. February Spring Half-Term is charged at the Mid-Season Rate. The Cheltenham Festival, Badminton Horse Trials, Blenheim Horse Trials and Game Fair weeks are charged at the Christmas and New Year Rates.
