Founded in 1890, Chipping Norton Golf Club is a scenic parkland course is set in glorious countryside just outside the market town of Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire, the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’.
The Course: an undulating 6,316 yards, 18 hole, par 71 golf course, set out in two loops, comprising tree-lined fairways, in a delightful but challenging setting, for golfers of all abilities.
The River Glymme rises close by and is the source of a number of our interesting ‘water features’, including a delightful par 3 played over a well stocked lake, home to a number of golf balls!. The course is maintained to a very high standard and occupying possibly the ‘highest ground’ in the Cotswolds, drainage is excellent, which practically guarantees play, all year round.
